The first collection of Sekar Larasati, A Journey to the East, is stand as bold interpretation of how east meet west in the 21st century. In this collection, rather than stand in the pure distillation of one culture, she prefers to mix ethnicities, traditions and modernity as her concept. By infusing the form and structure of western silhouettes with colorful batik prints, she creates a refreshing take on womenswear for the fashion forward woman.

This collection encompasses the whole spirit of Sekar Larasati as a risk taker, fun loving and adventurous person. Bold, unconventional and off-beat as it sounds, it is in line with the brand’s personality.
